Neil is a sports fisherman in the Pacific Northwest. After serving in the military that Neil's interest in rod building began. He taught himself through a lot of research, reading, videos and other rod builders, then used rod building as a therapy to cope with his service-connected disabilities. Over the years, Neil has worked on honing his skills by building rods for military veterans through several non-profits; later becoming a rod building instructor for these. His main focus has been building rods for Pacific Northwest fishing guides and fishermen, but he's also been commissioned several times by brands and individuals to build everything from tournament rods to high-end fly rods and anything in between. If there is a rod out there that hasn't been built, Neil would gladly accept the challenge. Most recently, Neil became board member and head of the fishing division at Outdoors for Our Heroes, a 501(c)(3) based out of Washington State, providing free rod building courses, fishing and hunting trips to veterans and active duty military.
